Analyzes code and design documents submitted by candidates and automatically generates in-depth questions for interviews. This frees interviewers from the hassle of preparing questions in advance, allowing them to focus on more substantive discussions.

Background to the Release

Many companies, including Google, conduct live coding during the engineer selection process to evaluate candidates' skills. Live coding is a very effective method in the following ways:

  • Reliable evaluation of hard skills: Live coding allows interviewers to directly observe candidates' actual coding skills, leading to a more accurate evaluation of hard skills.
  • Evaluation of soft skills: Soft skills can also be assessed through communication and problem-solving abilities during live coding.

On the other hand, live coding requires high skills from interviewers, which is why companies like Google and Mercari have thoroughly trained personnel serving as interviewers.

To address this, HireRoo has developed a skill interview feature that combines pre-assignments and in-depth interview questions, making live coding easier to implement. This enables anyone to conduct high-quality live coding interviews.

Main Release Contents

  • Interview deep-dive perspectives are now displayed in the report section.

Applicable Plans: Standard or higher

Applicable Tests: Tests including coding format and system design format problems

*This will be displayed for those who took a test on or after the release date of February 14, 2025.

*Separate selection fees will apply if live coding using test results is conducted (if an interview is created and conducted from the continuation point).
