April 2026 | Notice Regarding the Discontinuation of Google Search and Similar Code Detection Features

We would like to inform you about the upcoming discontinuation of certain features on the HireRoo platform.

Features to be Discontinued

We will be discontinuing the following features effective May 11 .

• Google Search Feature：Usage of search in the editor, and display of search words and viewed page history in the reports
• Similar Code Detection Feature：Detection of structural similarities in code with other candidates, and display of the corresponding code

Background of Discontinuation and Future Updates

With the widespread adoption of generative AI, the skill requirements expected of engineers are undergoing significant changes.

In assessing skills suitable for this "AI Era," we have determined that the two features mentioned above no longer meet current needs, leading to our decision to discontinue them.

Moving forward, we will focus on developing question formats and reports that realize the Visualization of AI Skills , updating our platform to enable more appropriate evaluations that closely reflect actual practical work.

Important ：Notice Regarding Past Reports After the features are discontinued, data from the aforementioned two features (search history and similar code results) will no longer be viewable in the reports of candidates who took the test prior to the discontinuation date. Please kindly take note of this change.
