Background of the Release

With the rapid development of generative AI, its use has become mainstream in development environments. However, traditional coding exams offered by HireRoo did not have the functionality to assess candidates' generative AI utilization skills, making it impossible to evaluate skills relevant to current practices.

With this release, candidates can now use Google Search and ChatGPT within the answer screen during coding exams, and evaluators can view their usage history on the report screen. This enables the assessment of candidates' search and prompting abilities, and allows for a more practical evaluation of their skills.

*This feature is available for Standard plans and above.

Main Release Contents

  • You can now select to turn Web Search and ChatGPT ON/OFF on the HireRoo answer screen when creating a test.
  • In tests where it is turned ON, candidates can use each service within the answer screen (Image ①).
  • You can now view search queries, prompts, and text generated by ChatGPT on the playback screen (Image ② right).
  • The playback function itself has also significantly evolved, displaying detailed event history and aggregates, making it easier to understand the candidate's solving process (Image ② left, Image ③).
