Interview Procedure

1. Start the Interview

Start the interview using the link shared by the recruiting company, following these steps:

Open the scheduled exam link in your browser.
Review the displayed important notes and check the checkbox.
Enter your name and click the "Join Interview" button.

If the interview has not yet started, a waiting screen will be displayed. Please wait there; the test screen will be automatically displayed once the company starts the interview.

2. Features During the Interview

When Using Video Call

To use HireRoo's video call feature, connect by following these steps:

Click the "Video Call" button in the upper right corner of the screen.
When the pop-up appears, click "Join".
If your browser asks for permission to access your camera and microphone, please allow it.

From the "Settings" menu, you can select input devices and configure noise cancellation.

Important Virtual background and recording features are not available.

When Using Chat Function

You can send and receive messages from the "Chat" section on the right side of the screen.

Important

All past chat messages will be displayed to members who join the interview after a chat has been sent.

Chat content is not recorded (saved) after the session ends.

3. Question Formats

Either or both of the following formats may be presented:

Coding Format

This format involves writing code in real-time with the interviewer.

You can choose and write in any language you prefer.
Edits are immediately reflected on the other person's screen, and mutual cursor positions are shared.

System Design Format

This format involves collaborating with the interviewer on system design.

You select a cloud vendor and create a design diagram.
The collaborative editing feature allows you to see each other's edits in real-time.

4. Ending the Interview

The interviewer will perform the operation to end the interview. Once this operation is performed, the candidate's screen will automatically transition to the end screen.
