How to Use Google Search and ChatGPT

The HireRoo answer screen has built-in features that allow you to use web search and AI assistants during a test. This page explains how to use these tools.

About This Feature

The right panel of the answer screen may display the following tabs:

  • Google Search: Allows you to perform Google web searches within the answer screen.
  • ChatGPT: Allows you to ask questions to the AI chat (GPT-4.1 mini).

Important: These tools will only appear if the hiring company permits their use for the test. They may not appear depending on the company's settings. If they are not displayed, their use is not permitted for that specific test.

  1. Click the "Google Search" tab on the right side of the answer screen.
  2. Enter your keywords in the search box.
  3. Press Enter or click the search button to display the search results in the right panel.
  4. Click on a search result link to view the web page within the same panel.

Important: You can search without leaving the test answer screen, allowing you to refer to search results alongside the code editor as you answer.

How to Use ChatGPT

  1. Click the "ChatGPT" tab on the right side of the answer screen.
  2. Enter your question or the content you want to confirm in the input field.
  3. Press Enter or click the send button.
  4. The AI's response will be displayed.

Example uses:

  • "What is the time complexity of the XX algorithm?"
  • "How do I sort a list in Python?"
  • "What does this error message mean?"

Important: ChatGPT provides reference information, but its answers may not always be accurate. Do not use the AI's output directly in your answer; instead, formulate your answer based on your own understanding.

Important Notes

  • The usage history of these tools may be recorded.
  • Use the tools according to the usage rules specified by the hiring company.
  • If the tools are not displayed, their use is not permitted for that test. If you have any questions about whether or not they can be used, please contact the hiring company.
